Get your feet (and face!) wet this summer with our FOC snorkel workshops! This guide of the river will take place under the surface, as participants learn about freshwater ecology and unique Cheat River critters. To get first access to our online registration email madison@cheat.org to sign up to the snorkel email club. Any additional questions can be sent to Madison Ball at madison@cheat.org

Our first Snorkel Workshop will take place Tuesday June 18th at our Cheat River Festival Grounds off of Beechy Run Road in Albright, WV (feel free to contact me if you need further directions).  Bathrooms and water coolers available on-site. We have also set aside June 17th as a ‘pivot date’ if the forecast looks poor for the 18th–if this were to happen we would notify participants one week prior to the event date change.

All of our workshops are free and open to the public, and we will provide the snorkels and needed gear to participants.  No prior experience necessary. Our events are open to all ages although we ask that those under 16 years old be accompanied by a parent/guardian.  Please register all individuals participating so we can reserve your spots and gear!
