Saturday, April 13th, 10:00 am: Shops property clean-up, including tree planting and painting over graffitti, supported in part by the FOCUS II+ grant and Miracle-Gro greenscaping grant, W. Beverly and Sisler Street, Kingwood

Saturday, April 27th,  10:30 am: Participate in the Spring annual Adopt-A-Highway clean-up. Meet at the Albright, Qwik Stop on 2735 North Preston Highway.

Tuesday, April 16, 5:30 pm: Cheat River Water Trail meeting, to discuss the access point workdays and progress on the Upper Cheat Water Trail. Guests welcome, contact Dave Cassel mtbikewv@comcast.net. Friends of the Cheat office, Kingwood, WV.

Saturday, May 4th, 10:00 am: Cheat River Festival 5k, race-day registration starting at 8:30 am, Preston Country Club, Kingwood

Saturday, May 4th:  The 19th Annual Cheat River Festival, live music all day, kids activities, great food, and a wide variety of outdoor recreation, special interest, and fine art and craft vendors!  Stay tuned for more information including band announcements and details on how to become a vendor or volunteer.

Friday, May 10th: Festival volunteer party! Laid-back BBQ in appreciation for all those who volunteer at the Cheat River Festival. To volunteer contact Kelli at kelligeswein@hotmail.com
